PP IWO Jajaki Kerjasama Dengan BPJS ketenagakerjaan

JAKARTA-Pengurus Pusat (PP) Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) melakukan anjangsana ke Kantor Pusat BPJS Ketenagakerjaan untuk melakukan audensi dengan Dewan Pengawas (Dewas) BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Poempida Hidayatullah.

Pada kesempatan tersebut Ketua Umum DPP IWO Jodhi Yudono menjajaki kerjasama dengan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan demi peningkatan kesejahteraan wartawan yang tergabung dalam Organisasi IWO.

Poempida menyambut baik atas kerjasama yang diajukan oleh IWO dengan menyelaraskan program-program yang sudah ada di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Salah satunya lanjut Poempida Gerakan Nasional (GN) Lingkaran. “GN Lingkaran sendiri merupakan program yang dibangun sebagai sarana bagi masyarakat atau perusahaan yang ingin menyumbangkan donasi dan membayarkan iuran tenaga kerja mandiri yang tidak mampu dengan membayar iuran BPJS Ketenagakerjaan agar memperoleh jaminan kecelakaan kerja serta jaminan kematian dalam bekerja,” jelas Poempida.

GN Lingkaran lanjut dia mencakup tiga program perlindungan dasar jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan, yakni Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja (JKK), Jaminan Kematian (JKm), dan Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) kepada pekerja rentan.

Adapun prinsip dari GN Lingkaran kata dia yakni melindungi jaminan sosial setiap pekerja informal/bukan penerima upah (BPU) di Indonesia.

“Mereka ini para pekerja rentan atau pekerja yang penghasilannya hanya untuk biaya hidup hari itu saja,” ujar dia.

Sejak diluncurkan pertengahan 2016, tercatat 254.152 tenaga kerja sudah terlindungi program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan melalui GN Lingkaran, dan sudah ada 2.010 donatur telah tergabung.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan menargetkan pekerja rentan yang dapat terlindungi sampai dengan akhir tahun 2017 mencapai 500.000 orang.
