Pengurus Daerah IWO Tegal-Jawa Tengah, Resmi Dilantik

Tegal, Jawa Tengah – Ketua umum Pengurus Pusat Ikatan Wartawan Online (PP IWO) Jodhi Yudhono resmi melantik Pengurus Daerah Ikatan Wartawan Online (PD IWO) Tegal, bertempat di Obyek Wisata Tirto Arum Kendal Jawa Tengah, Jumat (25/10/2019).

Acara pelantikan diawali dengan pembacaan doa, menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya 3 (tiga) stanza dan menyanyikan lagu Mars IWO. Selanjutnya, pembacaan ikrar/ janji Wartawan Online dan penyerahan bendera pataka organisasi dilakukan secara langsung oleh Ketua Umum IWO Pusat Jodhi Yudhono.

Dalam sambutannya Jodhi mengatakan, peran media online semakin terdepan dalam memberikan sajian informasi pemberitaan dalam setiap peristiwa. Media cetak atau koran, diakui kalah cepat dalam mengabarkan sajian berita. “Selamat kepada Pengurus Daerah IWO Tegal. Saya berharap keberadaan IWO Tegal bisa membawa manfaat baik untuk pengurus juga untuk masyarakat Tegal secara luas” jelasnya.

Setali tiga uang, Sekjen IWO Pusat Dwi Christianto mengapresiasi dan mendukung penuh keberadaan IWO Tegal. “Saya mempersiapkan segala kepeluan surat menyurat bagi keperluan adminitratif pengurus dan anggota IWO Tegal, agar segera dapat memasukan data anggotanya ke Kebangpolinmas Kota Tegal, sekaligus ke seluruh instansi pemerintah daerah,” ujarnya.

Usai dilantik, Ketua PD IWO Tegal Hartadi Setiawan mengaku siap mengemban amanah. “Saya meminta kepada seluruh pengurus dan anggota untuk senantiasa kompak. Alhamdulillah PD IWO Tegal sudah dibentuk, mari saatnya kita rapatkan barisan,” Katanya mengakhiri.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, pelantikan dan deklarasi juga dilakukan kepada PW IWO Jateng dan PD IWO Kendal. Selain itu, diselenggarakan pula seminar dengan tema peran media online di era globalisasi.
